CustomerReviews

Don't buy from these guys
I bought this sauna back in November of 2009 and when it arrived, one of the cables had been crushed and two buckle latches were broken. I called the company that sells this and it took them two months to get a replacement parts to me after several calls and when the replacement part came, it was the wrong one. Terrible customer service. I am fed up.

Good to have it at home
I ordered it when the price was $799, I was lucky, it fits very well at my gym room at home. The glass door is very heavy, my husband would not trust me to help, so it takes 2 men to lift, but assembling is not bad. Remember to turn on the electric switch box before you close up the sauna. You need to season before use, 1 hr with door open, 1 hr with door closed. I bring in a dry towel to cover the seat and 1 wet towel to moisture my dry skin, it takes me about 10 mins to sweat at 116 degree which I feel very similar to a big sauna room. I usually set it for 1 hr, go take a shower and then jump in the sauna until time is up. I feel so refreshed after using it. One down side is that there is no heater in the front, but I sit side way occupying the whole bench, so it kind of solved the problem by 50%. It would be nice if I can lay down, but I rather save money and space. A 2 perosn one is good.

Ironman review
The set up didn't take long maybe an hour and a half. I did take my time to make sure I did it right the first time.

Every thing went as labeled accept for the MP3 stand a pre screw was in the wrong place. The door keeper device slides off on occasion.

My first day using it I cranked it up and it trip the circuit board. I also had a radio, tv, and heater on. I now use it at 115 and without the romm heater on and I have not had any problems.

The heat is not like the heat from lava rocks, which can be good or bad. It takes me about 20 minutes to heat up in it,and if I'm watching TV I can sit there for as long as I like. In other words the heat will not run you out of there, The 100 plus temps feel like about 20 degrees above the room temp. Overall it does work for me I usally time it for 59 minutes and get in when it hits 30 and it does the job for me. If anyone knows of a way to get the intense heat feel let me know.

Great Product
We just got this unit a couple of days ago and its great. The setup was quick and easy. The unit works great and plugs into a regular 120VAC 15A outlet. It's a great for relaxing after work or before bed. I am really enjoying it.

One small beef that keeps me from giving it the full five stars: The stripping/insulation around the glass door doesn't make solid contact with the glass. This causes the unit to take longer to heat up. I ended up making some some minor adjustments to get the door to press up against the insulation and make a good heat-proof seal. The unit now heats up a bit faster (~20 minutes to 120F and about 40 minutes to 135F as opposed to about 10 minutes longer without my adjusting).

Love this thing!
